Shop trees by height
Trees grouped by their listed height, which is measured with the stand fitted. The rule for fitting one is simple: take the ceiling height, subtract the topper and 15cm of air above it, and that is the tallest tree the room takes. A 2.1m ceiling takes 5ft; a standard 2.4m ceiling takes 6ft; 2.5m takes 7ft; 2.75m takes 8ft. Half sizes are listed with the size below them, so the 7.5ft trees are on the 7ft page and the 2.5ft trees on the 2ft page.

5ft Christmas trees150cm, for a 2.1m ceiling or a smaller room.26 trees
6ft Christmas trees180cm, the standard size for a UK living room.24 trees

Height and width go together
A full tree is roughly two-thirds as wide as it is tall: a 6ft tree is about 1.2m across at the base, a 7ft tree 1.4m. Slim and pencil trees break that rule and are the answer for a tall room with no floor space. Width is listed on every product page under specification, and the slim trees have a section of their own.
Tip count by height
Tip counts rise with height and so does the spread between a sparse tree and a full one. A 4ft tree carries 250 to 500 tips; a 6ft tree 500 to 1,500; an 8ft tree 1,500 to 2,500 or more. Compare the count between trees of the same height, not across heights, and within one price band take the higher count.
Delivery by height
Trees up to 7ft ship in one box by tracked parcel. The 7.5ft and 8ft trees go by two-person courier, who contacts you to agree a day. Both are free.
Common questions
Does the height include the stand?
Yes. The listed height is from the floor to the top tip with the tree standing in its own stand.
Does the height include the topper?
No. Add the topper, usually 20 to 30cm, when working out whether a tree fits the ceiling.
Where are the 7.5ft trees?
On the 7ft page, with the 7ft trees. The 2.5ft and 3.5ft trees are on the 2ft and 3ft pages for the same reason.
