Props that draw people in

A 2m nutcracker either side of a shop door, a Santa mail box in a garden centre where children post letters, a photo bench in a grotto queue: these are the pieces that get photographed and shared, which is why retailers and venues buy them. They are built in metal, fibreglass and resin with weighted or boltable bases, finished for outdoor use, and most are made to order with the lead time on the product page.

The range

The Gold and White Nutcracker Soldier with Drum at £449 and the 2m Red and Gold Metal Nutcracker at £454 are the entrance pieces. The 1.42m Large Traditional Red Santa's Mail Box at £994 has a working letter slot. The 1.1m Luxury Giant Standing Santa at £44.99 is the entry-level floor figure, and the 600ml Giant Decorative Snow Spray at £2.99, or twelve cans for £29.99, is what dresses the windows round them. Giant presents, candy canes and photo benches complete a grotto.

Home use

A 1.1m Santa, a giant present or a case of snow spray is the part of this section a house buys. The 2m pieces need a van and two people, and the courier delivers them to the kerb.

Delivery and lead times

Free pallet delivery to a UK mainland address. Made-to-order pieces show the lead time on the page; stock pieces ship within the usual dispatch time. Order the big props in October; they are gone by late November.

Common questions

Are the giant props outdoor rated?

Most are, in metal, fibreglass or resin with an outdoor finish. Seventeen are outdoor only and 29 are rated for both; the product page states which.

How are 2m props delivered?

By pallet to the kerb, free. They arrive in sections that two people assemble with the fixings supplied.

Does the Santa mail box have a working slot?

Yes, letters go in through the slot and are collected from a door at the back.

Can I hire instead of buy?

No, the props are sold. Many venues buy once and use them for years.
