Stands

Every tree in the shop ships with its own stand, so a replacement is only needed if the original is lost or you want the tree on wheels. The Medium Universal Metal Green Stand on Wheels at £22.99 takes trunks up to 5cm and lets a decorated 7ft tree be rolled away from the wall for the hoover. Check the trunk diameter on your tree's product page before ordering a stand.

Skirts and rings

A skirt ring sits over the stand and gives the base of the tree a finished look. The Grey Wash Natural Wicker Ring at £19.99 and the 57cm Grey Wicker Ring at £14.99 suit a natural or Scandinavian scheme; the 58cm Lit Silver Spiral Swirl Skirt at £54.99 adds its own warm white LEDs at floor level. Measure the widest part of your stand: a 57cm ring clears most 6ft tree stands, and 7ft stands need the larger size.

Storage

A hinged 6ft tree fits a large storage bag; 7ft and 8ft trees need the extra large or two bags, one per section. Store the tree dry and flat, and keep the box of lights and the transformer in the bag so nothing goes missing between seasons.
