Stocking hangers

Each hanger is a weighted metal shape that sits on the mantelpiece with a hook over the front edge. The stocking hangs from the hook and the weight of the hanger holds it, so nothing is fixed to the wall or the shelf. The tree and the snowflake designs hold a full stocking each; a family of four uses four hangers in a row.

Stockings

The luxury stockings are lined, about 45cm long, with an embroidered design and a cuff. Santa with reindeer is the traditional one; the Santa gonk is the one children pick. Both have a hanging loop.

No mantelpiece

Without a mantelpiece, stockings hang from the stair banister on a ribbon, from the back of a chair, or from the lower branches of the tree on Christmas Eve.

Yes, the hangers are weighted to hold a filled stocking on a standard mantelpiece edge.

How long are the stockings?
