Signs and stakes

The Santa Stop Here signs, 1m to 1.1m tall on a stake and lit by 30 multi coloured LEDs, are the piece children ask for and go beside the front path or the drive. The neon-effect dinosaur with 210 LEDs on a stand is the novelty piece. Stake pieces push into lawn or soil; in gravel, stand them in a pot of compost.

Pop-up figures

The pop-up snowmen family is three collapsible frames in fabric that spring open and are lit by 270 white LEDs. They pack flat in a bag and stand on a lawn with the pegs supplied. It is the biggest garden piece short of an inflatable and does not need a fan.

Power

Twelve pieces are mains powered, seven run on batteries and one on USB. The battery signs, with a timer, suit a position at the gate with no socket. Multi coloured and white lead the colours.

Building a scene

A sign at the gate, stake lights along the path, a reindeer or a figure on the lawn and a net light on the hedge is a complete front garden from four purchases. Keep the LED colour consistent across the pieces.

How tall are the Santa Stop Here signs?

About 1m to 1.1m including the stake, so the sign sits at a child's eye level.

Do the pop-up snowmen need a fan?

No. They are sprung fabric frames that open by themselves and are pegged to the lawn.

Can these pieces go on a balcony?

Yes, the battery pieces especially. Stand stakes in a pot of compost and keep any mains transformer dry.

Are they rated for rain?

Thirteen of the 21 carry the outdoor rating. The rest are for a window or a porch.
