Most people start with one fixed fact: the height of the ceiling, the width of the alcove, the budget, or the colour scheme the rest of the room already has. Christmas Tree Depot is organised so that whichever of those you start from, you land on a page that only shows trees which fit. Pick a height from 2ft to 8ft and you see every tree at that size, pre-lit and unlit, with its width and tip count on the card. Pick a price band and the figure you see is the delivered price, because delivery to any UK mainland address is free with no minimum spend. Pick a colour and the snowy, white, black and grey trees have sections of their own instead of being buried three pages into a green range.

What is in the range

The tree department holds 166 trees from seven UK suppliers, Festive and Premier Decorations among them. Pre-lit trees run from a 3ft tabletop pine to an 8ft luxury fir with 800 warm white LEDs; unlit trees from a 5ft spruce at £79 to an 8ft pine. There are slim and pencil trees for a hallway or a narrow corner, fibre optic trees that change colour at the press of a button, twig and microdot trees with up to 1,700 lights wired through the branches, and tabletop trees under 1 metre for a desk or a windowsill. Beyond the trees there are 252 light sets, 183 tree decorations including 96 hand-finished glass baubles, 43 wreaths and garlands, 270 indoor pieces and 166 light-up figures and silhouettes for the garden.

What every listing tells you

A tree card shows its height, and the product page adds the width at the base, the tip count, the branch material, whether the sections hinge or hook on, and for a pre-lit tree the LED count, the bulb colour and whether there is a timer. Light sets list the bulb count, the lit length, how much plain cable sits between the plug and the first LED, the power source and the indoor or outdoor rating. These are the figures that decide whether something fits, so they are on the page rather than in a downloadable sheet.

How the prices work

Every price includes VAT and delivery. There is no delivery charge at checkout, no basket minimum and no surcharge for a tall tree: trees over 7ft and large garden pieces go out on a two-person van or a pallet, and that costs you nothing extra either. Reduced lines appear in the sale with the usual price struck through, and sale stock is what is on the shelf now rather than a reorder.

Choosing with confidence

If you are unsure which height to buy, the height guide gives the ceiling clearance for each size. If you want the tree to look as full as possible for the money, the tip count is the number to compare within a price band, and the buying guides explain what counts as sparse, standard and full at each height. Change your mind within 14 days of delivery and send the tree back complete; anything that arrives damaged is replaced or refunded with the return paid.
