What Christmas Tree Depot collects about you, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

When you order: your name, delivery and billing address, email address, telephone number and what you bought. Card details go to the payment provider and never reach our servers. If you open an account we keep the same details so you do not retype them.

Why

To process and deliver the order, answer questions, handle returns and keep the accounting records the law requires. We do not sell personal data and we do not send marketing email unless you ask for it.

Who else sees it

The courier that delivers the order, the payment provider that takes the payment and the hosting company that runs this site. Each receives only what its part of the job needs.

How long we keep it

Order records for six years, to meet accounting rules. Account details until you ask us to close the account.

Cookies

The site sets the cookies needed to run a basket and a checkout. It does not set advertising cookies.

Your rights

Ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it by emailing info@christmastreedepot.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

The name and address of the data controller will be stated here before the shop opens for orders.

Free UK delivery

Every order ships free to any UK mainland address. Trees over 7ft and large displays go by two-person courier or pallet, still at no charge.

Sized before you buy

Every tree lists its height, width and tip count. Browse by height, price or colour and compare like for like.

14 days to decide

Change your mind within 14 days of delivery and send it back complete. Faulty items are replaced or refunded with the return paid.
